BANK MEMBERSHIP
The Missouri Independent Bankers Association serves its membership at the state and national levels in its contact with both the state legislature and Missouri's U.S. Congressional delegation, as well as officials and regulators from both state and national government and provides its membership with legislative information and insight at both levels. As Missouri's state independent bankers association, its dues and treasury are spent primarily to promote the interests of independent bankers at the state level, and although affiliated with the Independent Community Bankers Association (ICBA), the national independent bankers trade group, the MIBA is a separate membership dedicated to serving Missouri's independent banks.
Please contact the Association's office for any additional information concerning membership. Association dues are computed for each member bank based on that bank's total deposits with each member bank paying its proportionate share of the Association's dues income.
2008 MIBA Annual Dues Schedule for banks is $400.00 base dues, plus $10.00 per million in deposits. For banks with over $150 million in deposits, total dues are capped at $1,900.00. For the 2007 membership year, 100% of dues are deductible for business purposes.
